Davante Adams College Jersey

Davante Adams Jersey to be Retired by Fresno State University

Nine Years in the Making

Davante Adams, a two-time collegiate All-American, five-time NFL Pro Bowler, and two-time Associated Press All-Pro, will finally have his Fresno State jersey retired in a ceremony this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound wide receiver was a standout for the Bulldogs from 2011 to 2013, catching 233 passes for 3,031 yards and 38 touchdowns. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft with the 53rd overall pick.

A Fitting Tribute

Adams' jersey retirement is a fitting tribute to one of the most successful players in Fresno State history. He is the school's all-time leader in receiving yards and touchdowns, and ranks second in receptions. He was also a key member of the Bulldogs' 2013 team that won the Mountain West Conference championship and played in the BCS National Championship Game.

Adams' jersey retirement will be a special moment for the university and its fans. It is a reminder of the great success that Adams achieved at Fresno State, and it will serve as an inspiration to future generations of Bulldogs.
