Kremlin Accuses Ukraine of Terrorism
Putin Also Target of Plot
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has survived a number of assassination attempts, according to Ukrainian government officials and news sources. The Kremlin has accused Ukraine of perpetrating the incidents and has called them acts of terrorism. Russian President Vladimir Putin also survived an assassination attempt two months ago, just after he announced the invasion of Ukraine.
The attacks took place in the Caucasus, a region between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24. The Kremlin has denied involvement in the assassination attempts.
