The Long-Awaited Revival of a Classic Series
Emio The Smiling Man Famicom Detective Club is coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop on May 14th, 2021.
After 35 years, Nintendo has finally revealed the release date for Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and The Girl Who Stands Behind, the full-fledged revival of the classic Famicom detective series. The games were originally released in Japan in 1988 and 1989, respectively, and have never been officially released in English until now. The Missing Heir is a murder mystery in which the player takes on the role of a young detective investigating the death of a wealthy man. The Girl Who Stands Behind is a supernatural mystery in which the player investigates the disappearance of a young girl.
Both games have been completely remade for the Nintendo Switch, with updated graphics and sound. They will also feature new features such as a hint system and a gallery mode. Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and The Girl Who Stands Behind will be available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch eShop on May 14th, 2021.
